Recipes Pancakes
- Ingredients:
- 1 Terry's Chocolate Orange
- Terry’s Chocolate Orange Ice Cream
- Chocolate Sauce
- 200g Self-Raising Flour
- 1 ½ tsp Baking Powder
- 1 tbsp Golden Caster Sugar
- 3 Large Eggs
- 25g Butter (Melted)
- 200ml Milk
- Vegetable Oil (for cooking)
- Frying Pan
- Electric Whisk or Mixer
Equipment you will need:
- Mix 200g self-raising flour, 1 ½ tsp baking powder, 1 tbsp golden caster sugar and a pinch of salt together in a large bowl.
- Create a well in the centre with the back of your spoon then add 3 large eggs, 25g melted butter and 200ml milk.
- Whisk together either with a balloon whisk or electric hand beaters until smooth then pour into a jug.
- Heat a non-stick frying pan on a medium heat and add in a small knob of butter and a splash of oil until the butter has melted and become frothy.
- Spoon in rounds of batter, one at a time or several at once if using a larger pan. Cook the pancakes on one side until small bubbles form.
- Crumble in chunks of Terry’s Chocolate Orange, leave to cook further until the pancake lifts off the pan easily with a spatula, then flip and for a further minute or two on the other side. Repeat for as many pancakes as you can eat!
- Serve your pancakes with a scoop of Terry’s Chocolate Ice Cream and a drizzle of chocolate sauce.
