Recipes Pancakes

  • Ingredients:
  • 1 Terry's Chocolate Orange
  • Terry’s Chocolate Orange Ice Cream
  • Chocolate Sauce
  • 200g Self-Raising Flour
  • 1 ½ tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 tbsp Golden Caster Sugar
  • 3 Large Eggs
  • 25g Butter (Melted)
  • 200ml Milk
  • Vegetable Oil (for cooking)

    Equipment you will need:

  • Frying Pan
  • Electric Whisk or Mixer
  1. Mix 200g self-raising flour, 1 ½ tsp baking powder, 1 tbsp golden caster sugar and a pinch of salt together in a large bowl.
  2. Create a well in the centre with the back of your spoon then add 3 large eggs, 25g melted butter and 200ml milk.
  3. Whisk together either with a balloon whisk or electric hand beaters until smooth then pour into a jug.
  4. Heat a non-stick frying pan on a medium heat and add in a small knob of butter and a splash of oil until the butter has melted and become frothy.
  5. Spoon in rounds of batter, one at a time or several at once if using a larger pan. Cook the pancakes on one side until small bubbles form.
  6. Crumble in chunks of Terry’s Chocolate Orange, leave to cook further until the pancake lifts off the pan easily with a spatula, then flip and for a further minute or two on the other side. Repeat for as many pancakes as you can eat!
  7. Serve your pancakes with a scoop of Terry’s Chocolate Ice Cream and a drizzle of chocolate sauce.
